70th Birthday - Dave
The opportunity to help celebrate a 70th birthday. Count me in.
All prepared to make quiet conversation, whilst nibbling on sandwiches and possibly a lamington or two, turns out the venue was a local pub. Not a lamington in sight.
The theme: Aviation.
Okay. Wasn’t expecting that. All good. Let’s roll with it with a small light in an alcove off the main bar.
Over the course of the night family and friends wandered over and we chatted for a few minutes while making some pictures.
The night was abuzz with all ages of folk here to celebrate the birthday boy Dave.
Dave being an avid aviation enthusiast, or avgeek as the kids would say, made a perfect theme for many guests to indulge in thier own flights of fancy costume.
What a hoot :)
This would make a perfect coffee table book. A memento of a great night with humour and love. Something to reminisce for generations to come.
